| Hello! I am a 25 y/o female from Texas. I am single with no children. Recently, I've become increasingly unhappy and restless with my lifestyle, so I've been changing it. One of the biggest changes I'm looking to make is to become more worldly. I am looking forward to traveling abroad in the future but in the mean time hope to enlighten myself through friendships made with pen pals. I've always loved stationary and writing but never took the next step in finding someone with whom to share written correspondence. I love to read all kinds of books but mysteries and fantasies are my favorites. I have become very interested in gardening, cooking, sewing and crafts but they are recent interests that I still need some guidance in. | Hello!! I am a friendly 27 year old female from the UK. I am married and would like to make some new friends from all around the world but Females only please! I love travelling....thats my main passion in life and I have a couple of holidays planned for this year and next. I am going to Dubai on holiday very soon, I will spend one month there, I really can't wait! I also enjoy photography, cooking, gym, music (Coldplay, Guns N Roses, Beatles, David Bowie, Mika, Nirvana, Stereophonics, Rammstein, HIM, Placebo, Limb Bizkit...ect) crafts, making my own jewellery and I frequently go to the cinema. I enjoy sleeping when I dont have insomnia, learning new languages - I am currently learning Arabic and Finnish, animals, reading long books (I've recently finished reading Stephen King's novel 'The Dome' and I'm now searching for my next good read...). Also I enjoy meeting new people and spending time with my family and friends, going on day trips, picnics and visiting theme parks....I am going to the Warner Bros. theme park in Madrid, Spain later this year and hopefully to Everland in Seoul, South Korea next year! I've been to Ocean Park and DisneylandHK in Hong Kong twice so far which was fantastic! I am addicted to nice coffee...especially vanilla latte at Starbucks and herbal teas. I enjoy going to restaurants, History, buying clothes, Psychology, meeting friends for a chat, smiling, Forensic Science, Moroccan, Middle Eastern and Asian Cuisine, wearing red lipstick, kawaii, Hello Kitty, Disney, My Melody, collecting and sending postcards and stickers, fashion, using pretty stationary, writing long letters and being with people who make me laugh. Oh and I recently joined Postcrossing so I'm really excited about that......I've sent and received 6 postcards now! It's really exciting getting postcards from random people based anywhere in the world! Everyday I cant wait to check to see if I have received post! :) I recently received a lovely postcard from Taiwan! I graduated from University in 2006 but I am considering studying again to become an English Language tutor for when I hopefully move abroad in 2013/14. I have a diploma in counselling and I'm also a qualified special needs teacher, though I work in a completely different field now. I consider myself to be very optimistic and kind, I'm quite superstitious and I have lots of things I'll never do like open an umberella indoors or walk under a ladder but I think it comes from my Irish roots! I'm a good listener (even if I say so myself!) and I once I make a connection with someone I value friendship very highly. I want to write via snail mail only please, I hope thats okay! | I am looking for a few new loyal penpals, female and aged between 23 and 30 who write long(ish) letters and want to develop a real friendship through letters. *snail mail only* I would especially like pals from the USA (Florida, Hawaii, Arizona and Tennessee) and Japan, because I am interested in learning a little more about these places, though location is the least important factor. Most important is that you are a loyal pal who wants to become friends! I am an artistic soul who suffers terribly from wanderlust. I'm a bookworm, a writer, a cat lover, I love to sleep and I love to hang out with my friends. I am very creative and I make cards, FBs and envelopes.
