| Are you looking for a sincere e-pal and longlasting friendship? In this case, let’s check whether we have interests in common. I am 34, single, creative, open-minded, working in a consulting company and often at the client and live near Frankfurt/Main. I have been penpalling for a long time but lost contact with some as they stopped writing or we diverged in different directions. So I am looking for new e-pals, who won’t stop after a few mails. | Hi all, my name is sarah and i am 30 years old and live in the UK. I am married and have twin daughters aged 9. I work part time at the local mental health hospital so i have some interesting stories to tell in my letters unless you request not to here them. I am fed up of people who say they will write long letters on nice stationery and then when you finally get the letter it is full of scraps of paper stapled together and call the FBs, and then you find out that they write to about 20 people and the letters are not so personal. I only have one penfriend at the moment and am looking forward to writing to someone from anywhere in the world who writes nice long personal letters and often on nice stationery too and not typed. I am hoping that whoever is reading this now is that person and you dont find me too picky!! I am a loyal friend and do not stop writing after one or two letters. I love reading, writing, computers, crafts and knitting for my friends who have babies. I like any music that is in the charts at the moment. I cant wait to receive your email so we can become true friends |

| I need penpals who have lots of interesting stories (yes, and even gossip to share). I'm tired of boring letters that offer no substance. I would love to hear from anyone with good stories or who can carry on an interesting conversation. The main thing I request is no hypocrites. I can't stand when people complain to me about flaky penpals and then they subsequently flake on me! (Such hypocritical behavior is a major sign that a person is a wackadoo). Big bubbly cute handwriting, people who use nice stationery, and an appreciation for sarcasm are a plus! If you feel that writing is a chore and you constantly gripe about how you're too busy, I'm not the pal for you and you probably shouldn't be looking for a penpal in the first place. I am not into vampires at all. I don't know what this latest media uprising in vampires is all about, but if you routinely daydream about being swept away by an overgrown bat in the middle of the night, we may not get along too well. No typed letters or impersonal form letter intros. No African 419 scammers. I will call the FBI and United Nations. Thank you. |

I started penpalling at the age of 11 and it used to be my favourite hobby when I was a teenager. After a little break I have decided to give it a new try now and therefore I hope to hear from some nice persons soon. I am mainly looking for female penpals around my age and I will definitely NOT reply to chain letters, letters asking for money or marriage proposals. ;) I am looking for someone to exchange daily experiences, thoughs, dreams, opinions etc. with. I love to get to know someone through letters and discuss about everything and anything. Some info about me: I work in health care and in my free time I enjoy to do the following things: spending time with my friends, reading, music, writing, travelling, cooking, watching movies and TV, shopping, sports (both active and passive), relaxing, being creative etc. I am currently single and do not have kids- of course I wouldn't mind if my penpals have a family- but to be honest, I am not interested in reading letters filled with family stories only. Also, I am looking for someone who enjoys to write letters longer than one or two pages. I prefer handwritten letters because I think they are a lot more personal, but of course a typed one every now and then is no problem at all ( and I sometimes type my letters as well).
