My health isn't all that great most of the time and I can't work, so finding a way to enrich my life in my own way is important to me. My life might not be the most glamorous or exciting, but I try to make it interesting none the less. :) I'm a simple girl with a complicated personality. My childhood was filled with drama and it's caused me to really enjoy the simple things. I don't need fancy stuff to be happy. I'm very big on equality and not judging things or people without knowing the full story. I'm straight but support gay rights. I enjoy reading about different religions but dislike many of the values that religions teach. I love Swastika's. ♥♥♥ The story behind them (not the Hitler part) is quite intriguing. I enjoy doing my own research on something new and forming my own opinion, instead of just what I've been told or taught. When I dislike something, I really dislike it. It won't be something I decided to dislike simply because everyone else does. I'm an Atheist and darn proud of it! Mwahahahaha! I'm very logical and rational but do enjoy things like ghosts and other supernatural things, although I do not believe in them. I'm a very honest person, I hate liars and don't hide my feelings or thoughts, but I always try to be respectful and not hurtful when expressing them. If you do or say something that bothers me, I will tell you. However I will try to tell you in a kind way that respects your feelings and explain why I feel the way I do. If you don't like honesty, I'm not the penpal for you! =P I tend to be a weird mixture of confidence and self-doubt. I often don't reach out to people or speak up because in the past I've been made to feel inadequate and unimportant. I'm more comfortable being in my own head than I am expressing myself publically. I'm a mass of contradiction. I'm polite but swear. I can chitchat with strangers at the bus stop but prefer my introvertedness. I'm a grammar nazi but make up silly words that I pretend are real. Being a monster and saying hurtful things and then claiming it's just "honesty" is a disgrace to the word and a huge character fault on your part. Also, if you tell me I can talk to you about everything and anything, then get mad at me when I do, we won't be penpals very long. If there is something you don't feel comfortable talking about or a topic you just don't want to discuss, please have the ability to tell me in a calm, mature way and I will respect your wishes. But I won't know if you don't tell me and can't be honest with me! I don't have kids and don't want kids! Please remember that if you talk about your kids a lot, I'm probably not going to know what to say. I'm just not a kid person. | Hello, thirtysomething girl from Austria looking for creative long letter penpals! I'm writing letters non-stop for more than 20 years already, but recently I noticed that many of my pals are too busy to stay in contact any longer. I kind of understand that, though it is sad... But I really need to find more letters in my mailbox again to brighten my day! I'm married with one child and I'm working from home. And while I don't write much about children's stuff usually, my new penpal should be aware that I will mention my child now and then. Apart from writing letters I love knitting (!!!) and generally eveything crafty. I like to watch movies and certain tv shows. You often will find me curled up on the sofa with a cup of tea and a book or my laptop. I like baking and cooking and spending time with friends. | Hi.... Welcome to my Humble adobe! My single story 975 square feet home, the color of my house which is debatable if its green... or yellow... Its that color kind of in between... I'm currently sprawled across my couch listening to oldies music playing from my laptop. Which you would witness coming through the front door. My Art room is around the corner if you wanna take a peak... but please be careful! I'm trying to clean it at the moment, so my sewing machine is sprawled out on the hardwood floor with my handmade purses, small plushies, oil paints, knitting needles and who knows what else!
