| I am a 41 year old mom/woman/girl who wants to get back into penpalling again after a few years of being a lousy penpal... Sadly, I have lost a few penpals along the way, so I am looking for new ones world-wide. I am mom to an 11 year-old boy and 2 cats - although one of the cats has been missing for 2 months. I live in a small villa in a small town together with my man who commutes on a weekly basis. Professionally I am a social-worker and I love my job even though it can be challenging at times. I would like to find penpals who write chatty letters about the thoughts about life in its ups and downs. I am not particurlarly interested in readin about what you had for dinner or a diary about your day. I am more interested in what is inside you and what you value about life! | I am young at heart and enjoy a sense of humor, happy spirits, congenial sorts with a wandering spirit & likes to travel. I enjoy road trips immensely. The most fun is getting out road maps and just pointing the car in a direction and heading out without too much thinking. Perhaps having a destination in sight along the way and a final stop but just letting the experience happen. That's so much fun! Something else I rather enjoy is beachcombing. Even though I haven't done this activity in a long while I am in great hopes of changing this in the near future. You see my family and I have plans to relocate to another state and live on the coast where beachcombing is a daily endeavor. I'm looking forward to shelling, looking for beach glass washed up on the shore, the variety of coastal birds, whale & dolphin watching and perhaps learning along the way sailing & kayaking. What fun! I have many interests correpondence, reading (love libraries for books & DVD checkouts & searching for new authors), cooking vegetarian/vegan, crafts, knitting (learning again), photography, art galeries, cats, music and more. | Hello, I am Patricia, from France. I am a 38 year-old teacher looking for snail mail pals who are willing to send handwritten letters. I live with my boyfriend in the Parisian region and I would like to receive letters preferably from India, Italy (I can write some Italian), UK, Canada or USA. Other countries are welcome, as I may find my best pen pal there as well. I am looking for female pen pals only, from 30 to 45 approximately. I do not have children but I would be glad to hear from mums. I price very high the efforts my pen pals do in writing to me. I do not want to have 20 pen pals and no time to write to everyone. I am just looking for a few ones, who will be regular writers and with whom I will be able to share my views about many issues and my life. I am looking for genuine letters, written by hand and designed for the person they are sent to. That is what I do in penpalling. My hobbies include: Reading: mostly novels and essays. Writing: by profession and as a leisure. Hiking: in the mountains, in the forests, everywhere I can. Learning: learning new things, trying new activities. I did a bit of Aikido, a bit of African dancing. Music: I used to play the piano but now I just listen to it. I also like pop rock (Pink or Muse for instance). What I do not like: people lacking politeness or having an irrational discourse (I have no interest at all in paranormal).
